It’s looking like this might become a theme, but here’s another silly question with one of my responses.
Rave this if you are voting for Romney to dismantle Obamacare!
While I am working on a blog currently dealing with PPACA, this is what I said;
Nope. I have pre-existing conditions for which 8 insurance companies rejected me for. Since I don’t make $200,000 a year – I wont be paying an extra .9% on my taxes, and since I might actually afford health care becomes of this law – I won’t have to pay the penalty/tax.
So not only would I be stupid for voting against my own interests, so is everyone else for not actually paying attention to what the law actually says.
Furthermore, anyone who votes for Mitt Romney to dismantle Obamacare is a bleepin’ fool. Public Law 111-143-(PPACA), Subtitle F, Part I, Section 1501 (2)(D) cites Massachusetts having implemented an indnividual mandate in order to acheive near universal coverage by strengthening the private employer based health insruance system – it influenced employer based coverage and reduced costs of insurance.The point is, Romney is a hypocrite, and any of you who votes for him are voting for a fraud. If you think that he’s just magically changed his mind – you’re wrong – and you’ve been sold a lie. The only reason he counters everything is because his beloved party coerced him into it for political opportunity to destroy Obama.
So, for you all, it’s okay for Romney to do it, but not Obama? It would be one thing to disagree with Obama on the basis of States’ Rights, an argument that I could see in a Ron Paul post – but to do so on the basis of destroying the President is just stupid. Such a philosophy will never resolve any issues within congress, and somehow, you all would rather perpetuate the problem by voting for someone who’s a charlatan. If anything else, you all get what you deserve – higher costs on health care premiums (which are sure to rise with the repeal of this law), fewer opportunities, more likelihood of bankruptcy.
