Soon will mark 4 years since I posted my first article. While to some that would be an achievement, to me it seems more like a surreal statement. I’ve recently hit close to 9,000 views, which over 4 years is small. It typically takes that much time to gain a large audience, for those bloggers with the kind of dedication that blogging requires, especially on a topic as vast and prone to debate as politics. Still, I took a hiatus for a number of personal reasons, mostly to focus on a Master’s Thesis on Sexual Attraction. I also took the time to begin a blogging series with a colleague of mine, which you can view at Willis & Law Online. This, too, has taken a small break. But this post is to assure you that I will be returning. Things will be changing. But will not change is the overall content. This is a blog about politics.
On another note, my subtitle says that Nothing Goes Unnoticed. I realize that after such a long break, one may feel obligated to point out, or suggest at least, that much has gone unnoticed. To this critique, I believe is warranted. But the point with the subtitle isn’t necessary a competitive, although catchy phrase to show my quarrel with social media, and big news networks. It has to do with the unyielding critique and analysis on the various topics that I choose to discuss.
My hope is to post, at the very least, 1 post every two weeks. It is likely that there will be more.
Thanks for stickin’ around.
